There was video during the raid -- where did that come from if not NBC? The shot in the bedroom and the shot of Elian being carried outside were indelible. I'm glad they were taken, but because I don't like the government being allowed to act in secrecy, but I also think the public has vastly overreacted to them. But that's our way today. We make public policy decisions on sound bites and flash images instead of reasoned discussion. Look at the moral swamp we have in the White House. But as always, the people have the government they deserve.
