Why would I group a semiconductor manufacturer I consulted for with an incredibly overpriced internet stock? I was simply pointing out the PE ratio. YOU are the one who made that connection, based on the PE :o)

Certainly don't like financials here either. We are in a tightening mode with massive credit card debt levels and lots of speculative loans. I watched this same story play out a few decades back - the ending ain't pretty!

Slider in reference to the Fed, I believe BigBull and myself said the market was pricing in a 50 basis point increase so that after it happened it would be no big deal. I was under the impression that you were expecting a crash after such a hike. I do agree with you on one thing that they Fed has pretty much accomplished it's task.

Before I went on vacation I sold back my margin. Got back late last night to find my portfolio up. I really see no compelling need to sell KEG, HOFF, PGO, TESOF, GW (my OSX holdings). I did sell my SFS calls today since I was able to get the THX calls cheap. Now BSNX and THX are my main E&P plays. In the small cap E&P's sold EEE today, but I bought EEX.

I'm also starting to average back into techs selectively. Using a little bit of margin here. I don't mind if I miss the absolute bottom since I have plenty of buying power.

Bought some ADPT (thanks JQP) and NITE, CYMI, PKTR.

Don't seem like anyone wants to hold going into the Fed meeting. This could get UGLY by Friday.

Thanks Slider for that informative post. Will you keep us informed as to when you do start to take profits (somewhere) once your plan formalizes?
