Hello Vaughn:

Sorry to hear you're down with the flu and feel lousy!

I don't have the flu but I totally agree with your sentiments expressed so well in your post!

What is more distressing for me is to see the same BOD (with the exception of LB who is running SUF Intl)on the slate seeking yet another term so that they can get paid for board meetings and all-expense-paid trips to SA while holding zip-zilch-nil-zero shares in the company (except, of course, their gratuitous options)!!!!

Keep well, Vaughn! Lots of hot rum will do the trick... ;-)
Regards. Goalie.

Vaughn, unless I haven't read you right you are an enigma to me and a conundrum to others, as well as being a geologist and speculator in training. Teach me and I'll help you. Deal?

Hi Vaughn,

Don't know much about the Yukon exploration,...but I can tell you that Brazil is one piece of crap to deal with, and permits take a long time to get for a lot of companies. De Beers apparently as given up on Brazil,...and Canada is now in a trade war with Brazil thanks to Bombardier planes,...it ain't going to help SUF. Brazil is full of corruption, and the locals are fighting the international companies who they say are trying to take their happy diamond hunting grounds away, and the environmental lobby is in there big time.

Country risk is clearly a huge factor. If you compare Winspear's Snap Lake to Messina, you will see the benefits to SUF equal the benefits to Winspear in terms of projected cashflow and profit,...yet Winspear's market cap blows SUF out of the water. Much as I hate to say it,...Teevee was right, and country risk is the reason why, and this Zimbabwe thing doesn't help. South Africa is on the precipice,...the leadership doesn't seem to get it.

Still holding on to a couple thousand shares, but wondering why?????

Just a stupid squished hamster.
