Richard and Claud, It's possible to do multi-stock system tests with 7.01 using an add-on I created called MSST (the Multiple Security System Tester) and the Explorer in MetaStock. You provide the add-on with your signal formula, then the add-on calculates system equity, percent return, days long/short/out, and number of long/short trades. The limitations are it doesn't allow for stops, interest, or commissions, and it enters on the close of the signal day. But it gives you a general idea of the merits of a system. --Jon DeBry.com
