i'm bummed Hey! mr. mark don't be. I'm sure not. tc's link sounds like the answer lies there. I'm running the original IE4 w/no upgrades. There's nothing like being at the trailing ledge of technology. <gg> arno

mr. mark, Update: 1. I downloaded/installed the MSFT update. It had been a long time since I had updated. The file was quite large. <gg> 2. The colors of the title bars were still multi-hued. So I went to Control Panel\Display\Appearance tab. There you can change colors until your heart is content. So, I'm good as new with an up-to-date computer to boot. I think maybe if I had tried the magnifier with another Windows application instead of IE4, I probably would have been OK. Cheers! arno
