It's interesting how newspapers choose to present the news: In the LA Times this morning the headline reads: "Cisco Tops Expectations for 9th Straight Quarter" then the subhead says: "Company reports 55% rise in sales but cautions that parts shortages could hurt in the future." The the first sentence starts off "Defying concerns it cannot sustain its string of quarterly profits,..... The earnings news was good news - a lot of companies have mentioned concern about parts shortages - but the focus of the article is negative. Guess that's what sells best.
