All I can say is this market sucks bit time...

Simple as that. I still own over 50 pennies and you'd think you could get one big mover even with news coming out. The problem is NASDAQ and investor confidence. Usually the pennies are not tied into the big boards when there isn't as much volatility.

But NASDAQ has been hammered so bad that investors are scared and less likely to take risk. They are more wary of margining and playing the OTCBB market. I looked at Yahoo and the low volume on most of my pennies is amazing and they are still tanking.

Rising interest rates aren't helping either. You can get 6% now on some money markets accounts with no time frame or risk. Many are opting to sit in cash for now and take 6%.

Normally in a presidential election year the market is good. But this year we have two damn boring candidates which isn't instilling confidence either in our country.

This time the OTCBB is tied into NASDAQ big time. Unless NASDAQ recovers the penny market will not. It might be time to take 10-20% profit on any small gain unless like most of us you are down and have to wait it out. I'll wait till the end of the year to sell for losses and see if stocks come back. I'm going to need to sell my losers to wipe out my huge gains from January and February that I have to pay taxes on in April 2001.
