I got a call from a Schwab Platinum team broker about a month ago, because they had been reviewing my account and were "concerned" that I had such a high concentration of options in one stock- particularly a ASSLOAD of Intel puts. He gently suggested that he was certain we were still in a bull market and that such a position was unwise and that they might have to re-examine my options authorization status if I kept such a concentrated position. I asked if he was threatening to blow me out of my position. He simply repeated that if I kept such a concentrated position that my account would very likely be "re-evaluated". I told him if he blew out my options that I'd have him personally in court until he finally grew chest hair.

Fast forward to the present and those puts are up nearly 500% in value. My only explanation is that someone at the schwab trading desk had sold that garbage to me naked and they were panicing. I've got a low 7 digit profit on those puts right now.

Anyone ever have this kind of experience? What are the chances that that particular call was NOT recorded for quality assurance purposes? :)
