"The analyst[s] live by their reputations, and they are not going to do anything that might tarnish it." Such as going after an entire generation with a verbal meat cleaver? As for CNBC, you may be right that it is unwilling to have interviewers ask tough questions for fear the analyst pool will "dry up." What does that tell you about the station's integrity? It's reliability as a sound source of investment analysis and advice?
