How could I forget Teledyne. A huge winner in its day.

But much of this was for legitimate reasons. Teledyne I recall was one of the first companies to repurchase its stock in a major way. But unlike almost all of today's buybacks, the Teledyne repurchasing was done when the shares were quite cheap. Nothing wrong with that and those stockholders who held on made out like bandits (I was not one of them).
