Fortunately AMAT market cap is less than 1/6 that of Cisco.

AMAT's market cap is 65.4 billion.
Cisco's market cap is 435 billion.

The Earnings Impact on the Nasdaq should be less.

So, AMAT may and probably will drop, but, at least it will
not weigh the Nasdaq down like a set of concrete shoes.

If the Nasdaq holds up or makes a modest recovery tomorrow
afternoon, AMAT may well participate in the rally.

Great company, great results, but, a 1.8% surprise
(55 cents vs 54 expected) just does not cut it!

JFD,

When they're selling AMAT and buying KO, you know how nuts this market is.
