If they were actually real bid and asked prices they should be posted as higher bids and lower asked prices come in. What Schwab quotes are only "indications". I think that Bloomberg is quoting actual trades for a high and low for the day, but I don't really know. They do post a closing price that seems to be what Schwab and others all use to establish your Portfolio's value.

In any case, my $218 bid did not execute in spite of a low trade shown by Bloomberg of $190. I wonder why some poor sap had to sell at $190 when my $218 offer to buy was on the table. Must've been the wrong table.

I tried to cancel my buy offer this morning, but the Schwab broker said that they don't post the overnight Tokyo transactions until later in the day, perhaps around 1 or 2 pm edt. Of course they cannot accept a cancellation of my offer to buy after around 3 pm edt so I have to cancel my order within that narrow window of time between about 1 and 3 pm edt. I suppose my order has been executed in Tokyo overnight since the close was at $209, but it is still not certain. I think this will be my last Softbank trade until Softbank is available on an exchange. I hope that happens soon.
