Been awhile since I had looked much at adic, so I haven't followed what's been going on. Have there been any significant events since I sold out in Dec? It's come down so much I'm tempted to get back in a bit, once this carnage with the NAZ works out.

<<Sam: FWIW, I have not seen that ADIC will build products that will support M2. LTO is a yes!>>
-EXBT is expecting two automation announcements this qtr. I would think one would be likely to be ADIC. However, here ADIC will compete against EXBT's quality library line.
-Believe it or not, there are differences in each LTO drive even in terms of loading them in libraries, so having IBM doesn't mean you can automate SEG and HP without modifications. I don't believe these companies expect LTO to have more than a slow ramp and market acceptance. SEG says as much.
-ATL is growing revenue. Don't know how directly they compete with ADIC on DLT (ADIC says not much).
-And if there's a lull in DLT business as customers wait for SDLT, the automation companies willl hurt as well. Or if SDLT ramps badly it could hurt ADIC like the shortage of DLT 7000 did a few years ago.
Obviously, ADIC is a quality company and I'm getting tempted here. What I've discussed are the factors that create an uncertainty which could have been a factor along with a very ugly market for second tier techs. -Z
