Did anyone else catch the quote from an analyst who said Willy would use 600 MHz RDRAM?

I seem to remember some benchmarks with the 700 MHz stuff and they were horrible.

Jim, the quote about Intel using 600 MHz RDRAM for Willy is as follows:
- To stop AMD's (AMD - $80) penetration into the mainstream PC market ($1,200 - $1,500) with its Athlon family, Intel is changing its platform from an enhanced Pentium III with 200 MHz bus to Pentium IV supporting 600 MHz RDRAM. This is an aggressive competitive response and should succeed, in our opinion.

The above is from David Wu (ABN Ambro) comments on Intel's mobo recall.

He's obviously talking about WIlly ("Pentium IV")
The 600 MHz would be necessary if Intel was still shooting for Q3.

So maybe they are shooting for Q3 rather than Q4.
