Nice post...I know a lot of people who fall in a third group.

1. They came into the market in the last year because of all the hype and online trading ads.

2. They bought Techs on the advice of old long time longs like we have here. Longs that promised them big profits....longs that are riding on huge profits themselves and didn't want to see the party end.

3. They then didn't take the nice profits that they quickly had when the NASDAQ shot from 3500 to 5400.

4. Instead they bought the 10% dip and like the old time bulls recommended and in some cases even used margin.

5. Now they have no profits and a loss instead. They are in debt and hold twice as much stock as they had planned.

6. They are hoping for a rebound....praying in fact.

I doubt I am the only one that knows a few people in this boat. It's really sad. That's why I insist on posting on this board to present another opinion for people to read. Think what trouble we would be in if just longs posted everywhere promising stock doubles every year. Fundamentals do matter. Trade accordingly. What do you expect people to say that are long a stock....don't buy it? Longs are just as biased as shorts...remember that!
