I liked April. I had no problem shorting cuz of the volatility and hi volumes. Now the market is listless on very light volume. Hard to play swings. Been forcing some trades and getting killed on some. I should just stay away, I guess. It's tough, though, because of the nice intraday trading ranges on some of the big caps.

What's the saying "don't short a low volume market"???

Well, I can't seem to go long either. I just read a few chapters of a book and came across the assertion that "60% of all floats are held by institutions". I wish they'd make up their mind on what they're doin so we can join their trend. Irrational or rational, who cares, as long as there is some real direction.
