I read Greenberg this am also and it didn't make any sense to me because you usually see this practice when the company is desperate to just make their numbers, not when they are 25% over.

Example: Lucent last year before the sh*t hit the fan.

I was a little frustrated yesterday that LHSP didn't have the financials in the press release. A/R bloat is always a trigger for further investigation so Greenberg might be onto something. We'd have to look at DSO from the comparable quarter if there is a seasonal effect; consider currency translation (which with the Euro and $US moving as opposites can do strange things), any acquisition-related items (shouldn't be), etc.

So, it's definitely a red flag for something, but unlikely
to be as Greenberg interprets it.

Where the hell are the financials posted anyway?

P.S. Boy those $109 boys on Island last night sure got their heads handed to them here today. Ouch!

P.P.S. Wonder if Stuart and those guys are still holding the INSP you sold at split-adjusted $115. When I read that guys posts started to believe that Ameritrade Stuart was in fact a real person!
