Am I again missing something, or is the problem NOT with Rambus. As you said "i820 mobos, which were designed for RAMBUS, stop, freeze, reboot while using SDRAM". Well, if they were designed for Rambus, and they "stop, freeze, reboot while using SDRAM", my assumption would be that they work fine with Rambus. My further assumption would be that the folks that designed the motherboard to also work with SDRAM were the ones that are to blame, again.
