The New Economy and its Winners. Hmm.. Is there really any question? The second biggest winner is the consumers who get to purchase goods and services below actual cost because the public markets are subsidizing perpetual losses of internet companies. The BIGGEST winner, of course, is anyone who is an insider at any of these unprofitable worthless wealth transfer machines. As we all know, the average internet company has insider sales of stock that are often hundreds of times the company's revenue, much less profits. The champion of insider sales and no profits so far is Amazon, for sheer volume of insider sales. But the individual award has to go to Naveen Jain, the CEO of Infospace. He just sold another 100 million dollars of stock, just after completing a 500 million dollar sale several months ago. Naveen alone has sold shares equal to 50 times the entire revenue stream of his company to date. THOSE are the real winners. Everyone else is just a bag holder. As Warren Buffett said two weeks ago: "Never before in history has the ability to monetize shareholder ignorance been so profitable."
