I must admit, the coverage by some of the TV stations of the Intel Motherboard disaster at a critical point of the Nas recovery ruined my shortterm plan, but I believe we are still on track. The prediction of not revisiting 3400 again is still in my forecast but the market is tenuous.

I am from the old school and believe that the market control fundamentally changed when the fiasco with LTC (Long Term Capital) reared its ugly head. I am not a "Greenspan" basher, in fact quite the contrary I believe he saved our collective butts in the monetary troubling times, started by the Baht devaluation, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

However, that process created a control in the markets that has never been seen before. If you are as cynical as I am then I think you would have to agree that "gold" has never been the same, since LTC. Theories abound as to who, what and when, but ultimately the stability of the worlds currency "the merican buck" was achieved thru some clever work with "gold".

In that pursuit a network was established that could/can manipulate the markets. Much like their are "brotherhoods" and exclusive memberships to the most prestigious establishments on the planet, I believe that has now extended to a financial brotherhood that can manipulate virtually any part of the market.

The "merican buck" will always remain the standard because of this "secret society" and no upstart like the Euro will ever make the appropriate inroads. Gold will never supercede the present harbinger of choice (the merican buck") again, Greenspan and society will see to that.

Greenspans obsession with market valuation has been obvious ever since the declaration of "irrational exhuberance" which leads one to believe that the interest is not just superficial. Is it possible this whole calamity has been orchestrated.......maybe not intentionally and maybe not to this degree, but! My belief is that gentle prods and pushes with promises or threats of interest hikes can work miracles with fund managers and their appropriate puppets, the analyts/brokerages.

In pursuit of controlling irrational exhuberance an established network of control has evolved that can and will control the progress of the global economies. When a currency fails or is failing around the world, the "secret society" will gather and work with the IMF in its support during the early stages.

When an economy starts to slow a gentle "help me up" will be arranged. This may sound like extreme paranoia, but actually its not. I think the LTC manipulation let a "little monster" out of the bag and no economist would ever give that control up, if he ever got it....and I think they did. Prior to this point, no collective "collusion" was possible and any attempt prior to LTC would have resulted in one or more groups walking away from the table, becuase no one would have wanted to give this much power up to "Uncle Sam".

So in the end, what we have IMHO is an organization set up to create/manufacture global economic stability who will curb irrational exhuberance at all cost.

Our immediate future in the markets is being closely "worked" with everyone getting their appropriate piece of the pie. The most important part of this Nasdaq collapse that has not been according to script is the "high volume" selloff, or capitulation by the investor. Why is this part of the "TA" most important to this markets good health?? Well it puts all of those cheap shares in the mutual funds/brokerages accounts as appropriate payment for a job well done.

I personally believe the people that remain in the market right now, will have no part of "fixing up these brokerages/funds and they'll have to figure out another way to ge the investor to capitulate. It may be a subtle temporary piece of insanity by his nibs Greenspan uttering the word 3/4% for one nano second, then issuing a statement that he was taken out of context and totally misunderstood. But, there will be some attempt to prior those shares out of your pocket.....I just think the people that are left in this market are either to smart or to stupid to part with them<gggg>
