Yes Zeev, you probably right. But for a stock that hit 122 not long ago, a bid under $40 seems reasonable for a "toe wetting" position.

The breakout was from the $50 level, so I am not sure how the shorts will support this level. The short interest is now at 600K or so, which may not mean much if someone is dumping 3MM shares.

But unless you think we peaked in the semi equip cycle, VECO is probably a good buy in the $30-40 dollar range. Implied volatility is back up over 100, so it is an ideal candidate for CC writing (if that is your thing)

Zeev...when is it safe to go back in the water? I'm tempted to be a buyer at 48 or so. What's your opinion? TIA. JBK
