Ugly ugly--two weeks of gains from flipping stocks
wiped out these past two days--emboldened I'd decided
to start holding things overnight. If this keeps up
I may get depressed and cash a bunch out entirely--
buy a big house and a sports car and start contributing
more than my fair share to the world's carbon budget.

Interesting piece on NPR this a.m. on the way to work about the fight between insurance companies and those running clinical trials. Companies don't want to pay for trials as they would regular treatments. They went into the costs associated with trials that wouldn't be involved in regular treatment etc. etc. Well done piece.
