I think your missing my drift here. I am expressing NO opinion as the the viability of AMD in the post to which you are responding.

It is responsive to the question only of the effect of a "downturn in the semi business" on AMD as compared with INTC.

I do not know what the conversion ratio of the debt is, I did not even know there was one. But what ever it is it becomes less attractive, the lower the price of the common.

I do not wish to transgress your faith.

BTW what is the conversion rate of the ($500MM) debt? If you know.
