William R. Hearst, III, has been a director of @Home since August 1995 and Vice Chairman of the board of directors since July 1996. He has been a general partner of KPCB, a venture capital firm, since January 1995. From May 1995 to July 1996, he was the founding Chief Executive Officer of @Home. Before joining KPCB, Mr. Hearst was editor and publisher of the San Francisco Examiner for ten years. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a Trustee of the Carnegie Institute of Washington and the California Academy of Sciences. Mr. Hearst serves on the board of directors of Com21, Inc., Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc. and Juniper Networks, Inc. Mr. Hearst holds an A.B. degree in mathematics from Harvard University.

I didn't know he was on the board of KPCB where TJ went to roam. Must of had a great recommendation. <g>
