Anyone see the MSFT nonsense in the papers this morning with them pleading not to be broken up because they are too good a company. And hey, we didn't do anything wrong anyway.

JFD, Rally from oversold condition today. Big day is next week with Greenspan. Whether rates go up 1/4 or 1/2 doesnt concern me. Its the tone from the Fed over the next few weeks.
#1 Greenspan's job is to fight RECESSION and the battle against inflation should be to prevent the former. If inflation has to remain a point higher for a brief period to do that so be it. I hope he understands this.
#2 Greenspan owes Clinton/Gore a recession free election year and beyond. Actually he will be happier with dems in the WH. They are, I believe, easier for him to handle.

Therefore, I think we are at bottom here particularly for tech stocks. Maybe one more try lower and then welcome the bull back.
