Good job Scotty. I see membership (GE Board) does have it's benefits!
GE NET Solutions Named Sun National Systems Partner

NEWPORT, Ky., May 10, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- GE NET Solutions this
week was named a National Systems Partner for Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq:
SUNW), a leading provider of hardware and Intranet/Internet software and
services.

As a National Systems Partner, Sun recognizes GE NET Solutions as making
significant investments in Sun products and service expertise. GE NET Solutions
also provides the scalability to implement anywhere in the U.S. -- delivering
applications, systems integration and technology deployment services to end
users through field-based sales and systems engineering resources.

"We're excited to be a Sun National Systems Partner because it's a testament to
our company's breadth and depth," said Fred Pugh, president of GE NET Solutions.
"Our services are the foundation for E-business, and very few resellers, if any,
can match our technical expertise."

The Sun designation is a major component of GE NET Solutions' strategy of
helping customers realize their e-business potential. This bolsters GE NET
Solution's ability to provide focused technological expertise, near-flawless
execution through Six Sigma processes and unparalleled customer, supplier and
alliance relationships.

"To meet the rigorous technical challenges of a Sun National Systems Partner, GE
NET Solutions has devoted a wealth of resources to rapidly deploy innovative,
scalable and reliable Sun solutions on a nationwide scale." said Ed Graham, Sun
Microsystems Regional Director, National Systems Partners. "GE NET Solutions
operates an expansive sales and technical coverage model that helps meet the
product and services needs of our largest joint customers."

"The Sun National Systems Partner designation is particularly impressive when
viewed as a compliment to our status as a Cisco Gold Certified Partner,"
continued Pugh. "This combination of honors from leading providers really sets
us apart from our competition."

Both as a Sun National Systems Partner and Cisco Systems' Gold Certified
Partner, GE NET Solutions resources are extensions of the manufacturers' own
support team and are guaranteed to provide customer support 24 hours a day, 365
days a year. Sun and Cisco Systems both recognize GE NET Solutions' expertise in
virtually every aspect of their businesses.

I think the real story is Intel wants Sun to design HARDWARE around the Itanium, and they haven't.

But that's JMHO.
