Question is, if you are right how does investing strategy change now that the "big guys" are in position to take any momentum players instead of being drawn in by them

By reverting to shortterm mommentum investing yourself...assuming one would call this investing. I used to position trade extensively over the last 13 years, but have switched to a mommnentum process and find it much more successful. The mommentum I may end up following may, in the end, be the final MOMO created by the big guys when they decide to move this market.

If this market is truly contrived like I believe it is, then there are critical numbers that must be adhered to. If they get to aggressive then they scare off the investor and the plan fails....so the numbers I have picked and "trade on" are 3400 with little tickles to 3390 but anything below that and I think they begin to lose control. So purchases like MGI software yesterday at $14.30 got me $16.45 today.....if the ralley had sustained I would have held this for 3 days. MOT,ENTU,NTAP all netted a nice return,. If the market bases as progressively higher niumbers while consolidating, I expect my investment timeline proportionately.

Ultimately...in the end...what the hell do I know<gggg>
