WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--Excite@Home Corp. (ATHM) is seeking shareholder approval to increase the number of authorized shares of Series A common stock to 1 billion from 683.7 million, according to a filing Thursday with the Securities
and Exchange Commission.

The additional shares are needed to ensure Excite@Home has enough to completely dilute its remaining long term shareholders value and to befuddle the market even more then they already have. This move should further ensure that Excite, ah, err, Athome, ah, err, Excite@home will go down in history as the premier example of how not to manage a company for short term gain.
