How about charting those SI MDD #s as a moving avg? Or perhaps as an oscillator? It's also quite possible, I suspect, that they correlate with other leading Internet MDDs, allowing for a broader sampling. Have also heard attempts to use MB posts as indicators on individual stocks - something like open interest. Figures for total daily posts to RB, YHOO Finance, etc., might also be worth examining and correlating with market moves. Any grad students out there looking for a thesis? Think you could finish it up by, say, end of next week?

Holding my breath.

I think the numbers on coms would be enlightening. Even the earnings announcement and spinoff news barely caused a ruffle. All of the When do I get my shares? How many shares do I get? questioners are gone bye bye.
