Hi Poet,
Good plan. Long time no see! Hope you've been hanging in there- what an education- for me at least. I've got a question for the thread- I'm wondering if anyone has a good site or method for calculating option values. I bought some QLGC options on Tuesday- 65 strike- October expiration-when the stock was trading at about 62 1/2. Today, two days later, the stock is at 65 1/2, yet my option is somehow worth less than I paid for it. This happens all the time. How do any of you avoid this kind of thing? Do you stick to deep in the money options, w/near term expiration? Thanks...
