Hi Walt!

thanks for the link to the WSJ article. This is the
first time I have seen real numbers on what the bed business
is doing. Funny that DFXI wouldn't divulge these numbers
during the conference call, but would nevertheless tell
the analyst exactly what the revenue was!

your TQNT splitting... should give it a boost in the short
term. Let's hope DITC's numbers are good next week.

added to my AMAT, VIAN, and OVRL today. Very good prices
indeed. Stocks are currently on sale as investors exaggerate
fears of accelarating inflation. Greenspan screwed up big
time by increasing liquidity ahead of Y2K. It backfired
by leading to a dramatic increase in market multiples and
resulted in a spending spree by consumers during the first
few months of the year. But I continue to be convinced that
the bursting of the nasdaq will pretty much bring to a
halt consumer spending (as evidenced by this morning's
numbers) and inflation will "fix itself" once again. If only
Greenspan can stay out of this... a 1/2 point rise would
be (another) huge blunder with risks of causing a recession
IMHO.
