<<<complex, chaos, etc>>>> Can't agree: have three examples that belie the supposed complexity:

1. Abby Joseph Cohen, who bye the bye works for GS, says "less tech"...the rest is history

2. Arrowpoint...watch the fall out from this one...

3. GS, again, comments on SAP over the past 3 mos. Totally orchestrated and continues to this day.....

Wall Street is not exactly a widely dispersed group of folks.

I don't know about conspiracy theories, but i can certainly tell you from observation that there is market orchestration constantly going on to accomplsh certain objectives Years ago I had a trading account with Jeffries and company. This broker I used was always trying to impress me with showing me things that he saw. He might call me up and say they are going to take GM down a point and a half to do a cross for the pension fund and you cshould buy it there when it comes down because it's going to go right back up, or Fidelity Fund is buying 4 million shares of XYZ corp, or this hedge fund s doing this or that etc.

Another time i was sitting in a trading office on Trinity Place, and the hot line was rining from the floor where the $2.00 brokers were being paid to tell the trading frim who was on the floor with large orders etc. There is so much front running and game playing and orchestration going on that it's amazing, and I absolutely believe that there is collusion among the big guys and the specialsts.

anyone who doesn't think that this "tape painting" and purposful misdirection is going on is naive.

I also think that the misdirection in recent years the "pumping and dumping" by the big brokerage housestrading for their own interests has gotten so out of hand that the SEC and Congress should start investigating this issue, because it's Mom and Pop and you and I that are getting hurt.

<<< Hey, Barron's, get on the stick here! You've got another sacred cow to slaughter!>>

KymarFye,

<<<(e.g., "at current growth rates CSCO would be worth more than the entire world by 2015")>>>>

With millions like you, Abbey Chens and their harlots from the media around, this could never happen. Fair play to THE CHIEF because he is spot on the ball with his market observations. Refreshing to have a brain on this thread in contrast to visiting parrots and tea boys.

<Am very wary of such theories...On market manipulation conspiracy>

I am not.

BTW:Is Kymar a handle for a car or a broom from the GS lot?<g>

Regards,

ED
