Re: Intel Inside

As successful as the campaign is, it has recently come under the scrutiny of the FTC. The following link, from last year, is an
in-depth analysis of the ad campaign and outlines assertions that it is another example of Intel's monopolistic power and is
anti-competitive.

AM,

Shouldn't we look forward to the day when Qualcomm is accused by the government of being monopolistic and anticompetitive? My hope is that I'll be watching that news on the AOL-Time Warner network on my giant screen Gemstar enabled TV from my huge Echelon equipped house, talking to UF on my super CDMA BY QUALCOMM (in giant letters) wireless phone, being served by a robot waitress with Rambus inside and blue CREE eyes...

Aloha, all of that is just as I remember it from programs I was involved with from 25 years ago...the 50% support level, ad approval, logo prominence, use or lose, etc, etc.

Nice to see though. Shows how damned effective such a program can be.

Dosen't alter my views one iota.
