I've got it figured out now. It doesn't matter what the earnings reports are right now... it's all about the fed and interest rates. We need to see lay-offs, poor retail sales, and slowing PPI and CPI to bring the market back. Seems counter-intuitive of course but everyone is so wrapped around the axle on the interest rates that the market has become single minded.
