yep...also if you look at the VGY. it peaked in April '98. by rights the market as a whole should have gone into a bear market in '98. it was saved by Greenspan's printathon jam job that blew the bubble up to the current rather daunting proportions.

i agree on the XAU looks like a pennant to me, but it's definitely bullish on that break-away pole out of the wedge.
