One sign the market is at a significant juncture is how long it takes to resolve its direction, giving false signals along the way. Right now each attempt at the downside was worth a few points, but did not follow through. Here price has now moved back up to the top of the current trading range in what I expect to turn out to be its last attempt at a move up. Price needs to follow through to the upside at this point. But I am anticipating at least one more pullback before this happens.

As noted by another poster, this market also may turn out to remain in a trading range waiting for the economic reports to come out tomarrow.
