Tokyo close at $222 equivalent up a little (+1000 yen). Stories posted on the Nikkei Net seem to be focusing on the increased competition for IT stocks and companies. David Smith's pessimistic article just serves to underscore the current low point in the market cycle. Not to say that we still won't see more bloodletting in the near term. We should try to recall Son's long vision for the future and I think the current volatility will eventually be viewed as a minor bump. two or three years from now who will still be standing and prospering? Softbank still looks like one of the best bets in my opinion.
