tp, just speculating on my part but it is possible that marketing guy from the optical group left because he was not impressed with the product.

People blame McGinn for the 10G debacle. I

The mysterious Mr. Fun says that AT&T was responsible for the 10G debacle. They told LU to pursue DWDM instead.

I wonder why Fun wont respond to my posts. I guess he's just too 'important'.

People blame McGinn for the 10G debacle.

It was John Roth who told the CEO of QWest that Nortel would install OC-192 for the same price as OC-48 when QWest wanted to go with OC-48. Roth prevailed and OC-192 was installed without the software upgrade to OC-192.
