Mani, You did well deciphering AMATs report. I took note when you posted the book to bill, order stuff... I had the dumb luck of loading more AMD on the close yesterday. This luck primarily came from T/A on charts. Charts really tell you a lot if you take the time to learn to read them. T/A and fundamentals are even a better combo. I just buy more AMD when it dips to my levels. The overall trend being up supported by good fundamentals makes it all that much easier. Jim

Why? Could it be that you are listening too much to people like Cramer Actually, I read the viewpoints of several people before determining what actions I will take.....Cramer is just one of those people. Cramer just announced that he regretted missing the action with AMD.....however, he has never advised selling AMD; rather he has advised buying Intel. For the record, I have not sold any of my AMD since last summer....I am sorry if you misunderstood something I posted yesterday.....I did joke I would sell at $150. As for charts its one other thing I look at.....if a good stock is in a downtrend, I watch to see if I can buy when it finds a bottom....that's why I have Cohu and others on my watch list. Mani, I am not competing with you to see who has the better stock performance. The exchange yesterday and today was in my opinion, a discussion of whether this may be or may not be the best time to buy. We obviously disagree.....no problem. ted
