Guree : For there to be a rise in POG, what you are looking for is weakness, indeed a fall, in the value of the US dollar.

Indices of inflation mean nothing. They can go through the roof and the authorities will deny any inflation. As you know, inflation is all over the US and yet, "officially" there isn't any.

For there to be weakness in the dollar there has to be strength in the countervailing currencies eg yen and euro. Yen is probably fully valued so one can't expect much from that quarter. Euro has gone through the floor. Therefore, the dollar will reflect weakness only when the Euro strengthens. That's why I say, if you believe in such things, that you should pray for a strong Euro.
