I am not an accountant. If you want to argue about CSCO's accounting procedures, I'm sure an accountant who follows SI will chat with you about any problems.

JDN is an accountant and pointed out flaws in the Barron's article. He's away at the moment. Also, I saw the very end of Mr. Chamber's appearance on Wall Street Wrap Up, but I didn't hear what he said about the way Barron's treated his company.

Obviously, the market viewed the CSCO article in Barrons as negative. Look what happened to the market on Monday.

I believe that a newspaper that has as much clout as Barrons should provide a pro and con point of view about a company when they publish a major article. An investor or a Barron's subscriber should demand two viewpoints on such a serious topic.

Do you believe that the staff had Barrons didn't know what their article would do to the market on Monday?

If I were the SEC, I'd look into the Barron's staff's trading practices b4 the magazine with the CSCO article was published.

Sincerely,

Mephisto
