Um, I think you may be overestimating when you call yourself "average". I like FREEDOM. I live here because I like it- not that the US is totally free, but it's not bad. If there weren't so many morons ready to believe anything, including newspapers, we might even be freer. For example I find a lot of conservative types who are for a free Elian- aren't for free birth control, or free information about birth control, or free choice, and SOME of them even want to censor "bad" books, and "force" children to pray in school. Politics makes strange bedfellows, Mr. Average. You want to go off on Cuba- more power to you. I don't LIKE Cuba. But there are MUCH worse places to live. Places where a child is more likely to die than to live. Most of those places are in Africa so very few people give a sh*t. And even in the biggest hellhole people reproduce and ought to have a right to raise their children.
