Considering the current situation, if Dell was to adopt an AMD CPU, I think Intel would lower their (Dell's) CPU allowance by more than AMD can supply them. So considering how tight the market is, I do not expect Dell coming our way just yet.

The good news is that it means GTW, CPQ, IBM and HWP would just need more AMD Athlons since Dell is sucking up a lot of Intel's supply and is getting all it wants.

It should all work out very well and according to plan: inteL gets one large and loyal customer while AMD gets nine or more. That is just fine with me.
