what happened in 1990? Mosaic 1.0 was released in late 1993

I'm guessing when I think things should have taken off. We were trying to get off the mainframe back then. We had the bandwidth and client/server computing.

I remember seeing Mosaic in 1992 but I wouldn't bet on it. Timbo created HTML in 1988 if I remember and there where text based browsers around. Mosaic added tables and pictures.

Maybe I'm stretching it, I just don't think it should have been passed around the college world for 7 years. It really didn't hit our corporate world until early 1995.
