i agree on the lack of buyers being the most harmful part - all those low volume down days are largely due to that. usually selling really only picks up at the tail end of a decline. i also agree on Greenspan being in a box. juggling the bubble and the increasing economic pressures at the same time is not an enviable task. in an election year to boot. that carries with it the danger that he will be too easy and the economy is bursting at the seams already. i didn't know about the cardinal...not surprising though that a man of principles was not exactly Bubba's biggest fan. i think Henry Hyde also genuinely dislikes him.
