It's funny to see so many persons who pretend to
be Republicans defending monopolies given that
the bulk of antitrust laws find their origins
in Teddy Roosevelt's efforts to open up competition
by busting rail, oil and steel monopolies. A
healthy capitalism requires a vigorous antitrust
enforcement.

Omnipotent private monopolies are just as dangerous
as an omnipotent government. Bill Gates has been as
negative a force for software as Bill Clinton has
been for government.
