QLGC.. AMCC +14% what I liked was obvious institutional interest. It opened at about 67 but nicely pulled off the highs 67 to the lows of 62 3/8 allowing entry. 147 big blocks and 400% more than average 30 day volume is nothing to sneeze at. Bargains abound as a good deal of stocks have sold off 75 to 100%. I am starting to hold some positions. I figured other investors are 'holding' and they paid twice as much for the same stocks so I can risk a little on this 100% sale. As far as mutual funds are concerned, I'm not ready. I'd still rather accumulate my own new portfolio. I can diversify as much as I want, holding the strong ones while selling off some of the weaker ones.

Another really big plus is that if you got out on time, you can just trade the 'rallies' get 10-20% on a swing trade and then get out at first sign of sell off. You don't have to short just stay in cash until the next rally.
