Kind of confusing when we were hearing stories about impending death of PC's.. <<The PC manufacturing powerhouse announced an increase in revenues and net income for the first quarter 2001 after the close of trading today. Net revenue was up 31%, from $5.5 billion to $7.2 billion while net income rose from $434 million to $525 million. Dell's $.19 earnings per share handily beat analysts estimates of $.16 per share. The financial gains were due to an increase in the sales of servers, storage products, workstations and notebook PCs, which now comprise 48 percent of total system sales. Revenues outside the computer systems also made a large contribution as worldwide services sales exceeded $500 million. >>

Nasdaq Coming Back...
***********************
Ike:

Yesterday the Nasdaq won the battle in the 3400 support area on slightly higher volume... Now, it's attacking Hill 3600 with a vengeance... : > chart.bigcharts.com

Note the 7 period MA above the 14 period MA... Also note the breakout from the price channel... We need to see closes above 3600 and 3700 to continue along this reversal path...
