I was hoping I could get some work done, that is why I yanked it. Topics discussed:

1.) I give the Miami relatives more credibility than Juan. They say that Juan wants Elian to stay in the U.S. Of course, juan can not say that publicly.

2.) Kidnapping - Who kidnapped Elian? Reno gave the Miami relatives custody AFTER Castro and juan announced they wanted Elian back.

3.) Implications of sending Elian back are that parents have absolute rights over their kids. They can deny them medical treatment on religious grounds, etc.

4.) freedom is easy to define - the balance of liberty and justice.

There was another point, but I forgot what it was.

Also, saying the state department categorizes Cuba as a terrorist state simply because they are pandering to the exiles is simply ridiculous. Cuba harbors and sponsors terrorists. Do you need proof?
