To follow your logic then, you must also campaign to take Hianny as well.
And all the other cubanitos you can get your hands on ... perhaps you could even encourage your congressman to pass a law prohibiting procreation in Cuba until you are completely satisfied with its adherence to your ism.

Remember when Clinton spent millions to pull JFK.jr and his two democratic sidekicks from the bottom of the ocean. And when questioned on spending millions of taxpayer dollars on this he said "it was the right thing to do", just like the granola commercial.

Clinton and Reno are desperate to leave a legacy of something done right, even if it means doing the wrong thing. This whole Elian episode is their way of playing to the Cuban people so that when Castro dies history will show the good work of Clinton and Reno paved the way for good relations with Cuba. It won't play out that way, it never does.
